COCONUT RICE DUMPLINGS

This recipe is very nutritious and tastes delicious with veg or non veg curry

Serves : 2

INGREDIENTS (1 cup = 250 ml)  
  • Parboiled rice: 1 1/2 cup
  • Hot Water: 4 cups
  • Nisarga coconut powder: 1/2 cup
  • Salt : 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Method:
  • Soak the rice in hot water for Approx 2 hours
  • Rinse & drain the water. The rice would be soft in texture
  • Grind the rice till it is coarse in texture.
  • Add nisarga coconut powder & salt
  • Mix it properly, till all the mixture is combined.
  • With the help of your palms form balls of your desired size
  • Now place the balls in the double boiler & steam it for 20 minutes or until done.
