COCONUT TIL/SESAME LADDOO

HOW TO MAKE COCONUT TIL/SESAME LADDOOS

Yields: 10 (small)

INGREDIENTS (1 cup = 250 ml)  
  • Sesame Seeds: 1/2 Cup
  • Nisarga Coconut powder: 1/2 cup
  • Cashew Nut Powder: 2 tbsp
  • Water: 3 tbsp
  • Organic Jaggery: 1/2 cup (regular jaggery :1/4 cup + 1 tbsp)
Method:
  • In a non stick pan or a thick bottom vessel, on a medium flame, add sesame seeds/til .
  • Keep stirring it till the sesame seeds pops up & appears light brown in color. Set it aside.
  • Now in the same non stick pan, on a low flame, add nisarga coconut powder & roast it for 30 seconds or till it turns light brown in color. Keep it aside.
  • Now in the same pan add cashew nut powder & roast it till it turns light brown & keep it aside.
  • Now in a nonstick pan add water & allow it to boil.
  • Now add organic jaggery to this and allow it to boil or till the jaggery melts & bubbles are formed
  • Now add roasted nisarga coconut powder & mix properly
  • Now add sesame seeds/til and roasted cashew nut powder.
  • Combine everything properly till it is dry.
  • Now apply oil on your palm & form laddoos/balls while hot
  • til Gud laddoo/Sesame coconut candies are ready to serve
Note:
  • Sesame laddoos can be stored in an airtight container for a week
